Chantelle Nash
Known as Cham, I am actually a bit like the cloth, Chamois, my name is inspired by; gentle, non abrasive and makes things shiny! I'm adventuring through life with my dream man Mark and 2 sweeties Jentsy & Skylar. I love spicy food, musicals, and dancing to Summer of 69! I had to bribe my toddler with lots of chocolate to get this picture.

Day Thirteen
What Am I Believing For?

'But God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!' ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭66:19-20‬

One afternoon I took my 2 year old son Jentson to the park and while we were playing he noticed a little boy was crying. Jentson immediately stopped and felt concerned that the boy was upset, he said to me “mummy what happened?” I explained he was probably tired and had to go home. He then paused for a moment and replied, “I pray mummy, I pray to Jesus”! I then watched my confident son run over to this boy at the other side of the park and in his toddler language  “Are you ok? “I prayed okay”! To my amazement the young boy stopped crying leaving the park happy.

I was so inspired by my sons actions it caused me to tear up and as I reflected on this story I was in wonder of how a 2 year old can have such empathy towards another. But further, his innocent and confident childlike faith to believe that when we pray to Jesus he hears us. It reminded me once again that there is power in prayer and I believe it doesn’t matter what age you are, however big or small your ask maybe, whatever breakthroughs you are waiting on for yourself or others that Jesus is always listening.

Do you feel as though you have been praying for something for a long time and it hasn’t come to pass? Do you feel your ask is too big or small that Jesus can’t intervene or bless? Do you feel like God doesn’t hear you?Let's believe this week that God is hearing our requests - whatever area you are believing for, for yourself or others - we can be confident that God is listening.
