Ps Peter Prothero
Senior Pastor & Elder
Affectionately known as P3, (Pastor Peter Prothero), Peter is the senior pastor of Equippers Church Surrey, a thriving local church with multiple Sunday services in three main locations, (Chertsey, Weybridge, and Richmond). He is also the Director of the International Apostolic Bible College (IABC) in Kolding, Denmark, where he was a senior lecturer for eight years. In the U.K. Peter gives leadership to the monthly Acts pastors gathering, (Acts Churches Europe) and travels extensively, both in Europe and beyond, training leaders and strengthening local church networks. Peter is married to Jacqui and they have six adult children.
Ps Mark Collard
Executive Pastor & Elder
Mark is Executive Pastor of Equippers Church Surrey overseeing all legal, staff and operational matters in the church as well as giving oversight to our Weybridge location. Having first begun a career as an airline pilot with British Airways, Mark felt the call to enter full-time ministry in 2003, delighting his father by becoming a second generation pastor. Mark has a passion to see people discover their full potential and be empowered to live out a faith-filled life for Jesus. He has been married to Monica for 12 years and they have four amazing children.
Ps Lavanya Dua
Elder & Trustee
Lavanya has been a practicing GP for over 25 years. In 2014 she resigned from her medical position to devote herself more fully to ministry. Ordained in 2016, Lavanya, alongside her husband Ravi, gives leadership to our Hosting and Hospitality teams. She teaches extensively across Europe and now oversees our growing women’s ministry. She and Ravi have two adult children.
Ps Stuart Cosstick
Stuart has been a long time member of Equippers Church, taking up a key pastoral role in 2009. He is bi-vocational, working in IT as a Global Team Manager for a conference and media company, as well as giving oversight to Equippers Training College (ETC) new to faith programs and Pastoral Care across our multiple congregations. Stuart has been married to Ann-Maree for over 20 years and they have an adult son, Harrison.
Ps Neil Harvey
Neil & his wife Karen have been part of Equippers for just over a year, but have been close friends for many, many years. Neil is one of our Pastors looking after and supporting many of the community projects we have going on - projects such as; Friday Fun, Local School Work, Who Let the Dads Out, Revolution Youth and more. Neil is passionate about connecting with people and helping them move forward in life’s journey.
Ps Bruce Monk
Bruce has been in full time ministry serving churches and leaders for over forty years. He has planted and led churches in rural towns, suburbs and major urban cities, (Auckland and London). He currently leads Acts UK, having led Acts NZ for 15 years. Bruce's Apostolic gift and style of ministry bring a sharp focus to the church and leaders, helping them move to new levels of faith and expectation of what God can do. He is married to Helen. They have four children and twelve grandchildren.
Dr Paul Matts
Paul is a PhD graduate in Bio-Chemistry who works for Proctor&Gamble. The son of a Pentecostal pastor he brings a wealth of experience and maturity to his role as a Trustee of the charity that frames Equippers Church. He speaks on science and faith, leads a connect group and is the driving force behind APA. He is married to Ali. They have two adult sons and a teenage daughter. He is Visiting Professor to both the University College of London School of Pharmacy and the London College of Fashion and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and Royal Society of Chemistry.
Elder & Trustee
John has been running his own business for many years, supplying kitchen houseware goods to major high street outlets, like John Lewis. His considerable business acumen make him a valued asset to the board of Trustees. He is a true father in the faith, giving leadership to our prayer healing teams and preparing believers for Baptism. John Is married to Caroline and they have three adult children.
Ps Mark Nash
Location Pastor - Richmond
Mark has served faithfully as our youth pastor and PA to the senior pastor, Peter since 2011. He was ordained in 2016 and is now our location pastor in Richmond. He has pioneered the U.K. version of Revolution Youth and continues to give oversight to all our youth and schools programs, focusing much more on developing a new generation of youth leaders. Mark is married to Chantelle and they have a son, Jentson.
Care & Connections
Lisa gives oversight to all our Connect Groups in Equippers and integrating new people into our church. She has a great pastoral heart and is one of our best examples of how to reach out and include people new to faith. Lisa is married to Rob and they gave three school age children.

Thom gives oversight to three key areas in our church that are all covered by the word creative; worship, production (media, sound and lighting) and graphic design. He is a talented musician and worship leader himself and is married to Anna-Marie. Thom came to Equippers as a graduate of Chester university. Having completed our full time intern program he has worked for the church since 2013.
Sylvia is the finance director for Equippers UK and Company Secretary for our charity. She carries a similar role for ACTS Churches. A graduate of Oxford University, Sylvia is on track to becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant. Alongside our executive pastor, she deals with all legal matters related to the charity and oversees our administrative office team. Sylvia is a gifted musician.
Nicola is a Psychology graduate from Royal Holloway University and recently finished the internship at Equippers. She currently works for Equippers, giving oversight to the internship programme and operating as Office Administrator. Nicola also loves leading the Young Adult and Student Ministry as well as baking, telling jokes and going on adventures!
Kath (currently on maternity leave) is our Facilities Manager. In 2011 Kath graduated from University London with a degree in “Construction”, for many years after she worked as a carpenter. Kath and her husband Jason have been part of Equippers Church since 2012. In 2015 they moved to Auckland, NZ, both studying at Equippers College. After serving in Equippers Auckland for 18 months Kath & Jason moved back to the UK in 2016 and are now the proud parents of Carter.
